The Cancun Spring Break experience has a reputation for a reason. Each year, college students from around the country descend onto Cancun looking for the ultimate Spring Break experience. Cancun Spring Break is for those looking for the epic party of a lifetime.
Between the last week of February and the end of March, you’ll see large groups from schools everywhere in Cancun for an epic week of concerts, parties, contests and activities. The best place to be for this is at Grand Oasis Cancun. This all inclusive resort will host thousands of your new friends weekly for one legendary celebration. The party is happening 24 hours a day at Oasis, so no matter what time you arrive, be ready to rage.
In the morning you’ll find the early risers at the buffet. Start the day with omelet stations, unlimited pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit and much much more. The beer tap is open to get the day started, or ask for a Michelada (Mexico’s version of a bloody mary) for those particularly tough mornings.
After breakfast, it’s time to party. The swim up pool bar is open at 10 am with music, floating beer pong, and games. Bartenders will greet you with smiles and any kind of drink you desire. Many people bring their own giant cups to limit the amount of time they have to spend at the bar.
Around 1pm, the Oasis Beach Club opens up. Spring Breakers can party like celebrities with Private pools, daybeds, DJs and concert performances, theme parties, and even the option to order bottle service, all with the unbelievable view of the beach. On any given day you will see Spring Breakers leaving the venue covered in foam, colored chalk, neon paint, or sometimes even jungle paint. The music can be heard from all over the resort. Lil Jon has an epic performance every year, and other acts like Loud Luxury and Nervo performed this past year. Party the hardest and you may be featured on stage!
At any time of day you’ll find the party on the beach. There’s no better place to grab some sun than beside the crystal blue water. The white sand is soft to the touch. Volleyball courts always have a game going. If you’re feeling adventurous, hop on a jet ski or take a parasail ride.
One of the best events of the week is the famous Booze Cruise. You’ll take a ride on a beautiful catamaran through the open ocean. Drink all day while perfecting your tan, and cool off in the waves. The music blares while the staff host games and contests. If you don’t leave ready for a nap you’re doing it wrong.
As the sun starts to set, everyone regroups for dinner. Whatever you’re in the mood for, Grand Oasis has got it. You can never go wrong with poolside tacos or a nice juicy steak. Their themed restaurants include Mexican, Italian, Japanese, American, and more. If your group can’t decide what they want, the Buffet is open so everyone can be satisfied.
The pregame starts after everyone has eaten and gotten ready. The Sports Bar and club on property, Coyote Loco, are open late to give you the perfect buzz before heading off the resort into the club zone. Each night, different clubs host the ultimate Spring Break party with performances, open bars, bottle service, and unique venues unlike anything you’ve seen before.
Coco Bongo is a must see. This Vegas style show is one of the best parts of the whole trip. The spectacle includes performers, acrobats, and reenactments from your favorite movie, all while you’re partying with friends. Mandala Beach is an awesome club right on the beach. Drink a bottle in the sand with your friends or jump in the pools, bathing suit or not. Major DJs will be the soundtrack of your night. Next door is Mandala, a Latin themed club with open walls and fun music. You just might rub shoulders with celebrities like Waka Flacka and Troyboi. The City is where you’ll catch the best performances. With DJ’s like Galantis and Fisher to Rappers like Rae Shremmerd and Rick Ross, the night is guaranteed to be absolutely wild.
At the end of the night, plenty of authentic Mexican restaurants are waiting for you to have the perfect nightcap with them. If you’re doing it right, by the time you make it back to the resort, there is only a few hours until the sun rises and you do it all again.
