Is Travel Protection included? |
| Optional travel protection is available for $49.00/per person and covers cancellation protection, (due to sickness or death in the family or traveling companion), as well as comprehensive coverage during your vacation providing benefits in the event of sickness, personal injury, medical evacuation, or loss of luggage. |
Will there be chaperones on the trip? |
| STS does not employ staff to “chaperone” our passengers. We do have experienced on-site employees to assist with questions, problems and to provide orientation upon arrival. |

Will I have to pay a hotel deposit? |
| Hotels may charge a refundable security deposit that is collected at check-in and returned to you at the end of the week providing there is no damage to your room. Deposits will range from $50 to $100/per person. Deposit policies change from hotel to hotel and some hotels may require a cash deposit. South Padre bookings may require an on-site payment of a “wristband fee”. |

What does my Cruise Only package include? |
| Your package includes on-board accommodations, meals and drinks (such as coffee, tea, and juice), entertainment, and all government taxes and fees. Your package does not include and not limited to: specialty restaurants, specialty drinks, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, spa treatments, laundry, photographs, ship-to-shore phone, email, and internet, shore excursions, gratuities, fuel surcharges, and items of a personal nature that are not specifically stated. You may add airfare, transfers, and travel protection for an additional fee. |
What is the difference between a cruise and stay and a cruise package. |

A Cruise and Stay package includes transportation to a destination via a cruise ship. In some cases the cruise is over night and includes cabin accommodations. Once at your destination you are transferred to a hotel where you stay during the land portion of your vacation. On a traditional Cruise Vacation, you always stay on the ship while at port. |
What does my Cruise and Stay package include? |

Discovery Cruise Lines to the Grand Bahama Island package includes your cruise to the island, your hotel stay in Nassau-Paradise Island, hotel taxes/gratuities, government taxes/fees, public showers & restrooms, three buffet meals on board the ship, and on-board entertainment. Your package does not include and not limited to: transfers from the ship to hotel, $10.00 security surcharge, fuel surcharges, drinks, specialty restaurants, shore excursions, and items of a personal nature that are not specifically stated. For an additional fee you may purchase travel protection, book a cabin on the ship, rent a locker, upgrade your buffet dinners to gourmet dining, and the Discovery Plus Program. Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines to Nassau/Paradise Island Bahamas package includes your cruise to the island, on-board accommodations, government taxes/fees, hotel stay in Nassau-Paradise Island, hotel taxes and gratuities, transfers from the port to your hotel in Nassau-Paradise Island, all meals, drinks (such as coffee, tea, juice, and milk), and on-board entertainment. Your package does not include and not limited to: security fees, fuel surcharges, specialty drinks, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, gourmet restaurants, shore excursions, spa treatments, and items of a personal nature that are not specifically stated. For an additional fee you may purchase travel protection and upgrade your buffet meals to gourmet dining. |
What about Currency? |
| Most cruise lines can cash traveler’s checks on board the ship. Some cruise lines can exchange currency on board at prevailing rates. Traveler’s checks and major credit cards are accepted at the restaurants and shops in most ports visited. |
How much luggage may I bring? |
| Most cruise lines will allow 2 pieces of checked luggage (not to exceed 70lbs combined weight) and a carry on, such as a back pack or a beach bag per person. If you are flying please check with your airline carrier regarding their own luggage restrictions. |
What are the age restrictions on alcohol and gambling? |
| Most major cruise lines will require you to be 21 years old to drink alcoholic beverages. Age requirements for the casino differs per ship with minimum age requirements of 18 or 21 years of age. |
How do I pay for expenses on the ship? |
| On the first day of your cruise, most cruise lines will open an onboard credit account with a method of payment of (most cruise lines) credit cards, traveler’s checks, and cash. Cash payments will require a deposit! **Please Note** Discovery Cruise lines does not open credit accounts but accept cash and credit cards onboard. You may also cash traveler’s checks at the purser’s desk. |
