Even though yesterday started the first day of the last week of Spring Break, it felt like peak week again. University of Delaware came into town and they came to party, hard. Last night was the last but arguably best white party at IBIZA where over 95% of the crowd wore ALL WHITE.  Tonight STS kicks off the night at Classico before the grande finale New Year’s Eve Party at Palladium. It looks like Spring Break with STS is going to finish off as good as it started.

Monday March 24, 2008 

Tomorrow night is the big night. Acapulco is buzzing about DJ Tiesto who is scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon for what is being called his most anticipated show ever. Palladium is a regular stop for Tiesto but this is the first show during Spring Break in Acapulco. Tickets for the show are going for $100 (that is dollars, not pesos) but all STS travelers that have purchased the VIP Package will experience the rush at no extra charge.  Check back to www.ststravel.com for all of the details and pictures later this week.

Week five has sure proven to be the week of the Mountaineer here in Cancun, Mexico! With fewer students the partying has most definately not slowed down. This weeks Spring Breakers really know how to throw it down at the mega clubs and poolside! Coco Bongo was a major success yesterday evening as all students were stoked to be inside watching the unbelievable shows!

It may be the last week of Spring Break, but that doesn’t stop our students from partying like there is no tomorrow, especially because it is their only spring break!!  Everyone reported over to the Jungle as soon as those gates opened. The Easter weekend allowed more of the locals to come party with us too. That got the Jungle really going crazy.  Everyone is really excited about this concert here at Tamboo tomorrow night. It features Vybz Cartell, and hopefully we’ll see Troblesum up on the stage too!

VIP last night at Tamboo was a great party as always, the fire dancer came out again as well.  Tonight is back at the Jungle and then I’m real excited for Monday night where we are having a concert here at Tamboo to replace JamFest for this week.  A few huge local Reggae bands will be performing as well as the up and coming Reggae superstar Troublesum looking to push his hit single Touch.  Troublesum has been staying at Tamboo and has been real close with the reps so it adds to the excitement of seeing him get up and do his thing.  Its now getting to about that time for some drinking games for our beach party.

As Spring Breakers enter the mega club dressed head to toe in white they recieve tall flutes of Cancun’s finest champagne!  House Rap and Rock echo through Bulldog as todas las personas dance the beautiful night away!

 Poolside at the Oasis seems to be the hotspot during the day as partiers sport their fav green t’s and neon bikinis! Pat O’Briens will surely be the #1 tonight when St. Patties day is celebrated in full force!

The weather at home delayed the parties on Sunday but it couldn’t stop it! Flights from all over the US were delayed while we waited here anxious for them to get here for the week to start. It’s a good thing that the open bar party at the Jungle is 8 hours and goes until 6 in the morning. Everyone got crazy upstairs drinking Red Stripe or their mixed drink of choice. We were all happy to see the new arrivals come in. There was drinking, contests, shoutouts to the schools, and just absolute craziness. The party didn’t stop at 2AM when the upstairs closed though. The Jungle is the place where you have the party and the after party at the same bar! Everyone just moves downstairs to go get on the dancefloor and pick out their partner for the night… it’s always great to see who ends up with who!

Saturday night we had our STS Party at our Headquarters. Tamboo!!! Students who had teh VIP Package already got in free and others could pay $25 and get all the drinks they wanted from 10P-3A. DJ Taz ran the mic…. he’s always a favorite with the ladies The parties at Tamboo are so great because people can dance in the sand or on stage if they like, or they can hang out on the deck, play beer pong, card games, or just hang out.

Another great VIP party at Margaritaville Wednesday night, Wicked productions is back DJing…”Awe Yea”! And they know how to run a party, a few contests and shot bottles to  kick off the night.  Everyone there is very excited to go back for Friday nights VIP foam party at Margaritaville.  Im excited to see what type of set up they put together for the beach bars they keep in the back, everytime they do a different setup and all the bartenders where different costumes.  Hopefully the bartender I always go to back there again, last time they had him rocking a blue wig.  Coral Seas Beach bonfire tomorrow night.

Thursday in Negril….The morning started off with 2 busloads of students headed up to Y.S’s falls at 9AM. I guess they must have heard what an amazing trip it was from the week before because everyone wanted to go on it. Those who could manage the 9 am wake up call went and separated for the day to see the wonder of the interior.

 Those who stayed behind enjoyed a power hour by the beach, and some even went Jet Skiing. Later in the evening, everyone headed over to the Coral Seas Beach Bonfire for some flip cup, beer pong, and other contests. I don’t know how some of these kids hit it so hard all week and were still bonging beers last night!
