Tuesday was a crazy day in Negril, everyone still feeling a little rough from JamFest the night before came out a little later in the day, and then started the chaos all over again. One kid was even running around Tamboo trying to escape the security guard and get in the ocean naked! That was after most of the people had left for the Booze Cruise out to Ricks Cafe where everyone did some cliff jumping. It was a packed house, and that just added to the fun. I guess you could say it was just a pre-party to the nights festivities, which on this particular night was Risky Business. What can I say cage dances, and a toga competition. What can I say… what happens on Spring Break stays in Negril…:)

Beanie Man last night at JamFest was off the hook! Beanie Man put on a hell of a show, he had a great energy on stage and Waves was packed for it. The concert drew a huge student spring breaker crowd and a strong local crowd as well, Shaggy next week is going to be unreal. The 60 foot water slide was also up and running and a wet tshirt contest is always a crowd pleaser.
Our daytime beach party yesterday got completely out of control as well, the beach was jampacked! After some flip cup and other drinking games once the whole beach was inebriated things really popped off. First was a swim suit swap competition…a girl and guy line up and run into the ocean and switch bathing suits and run back across the line on the beach and the fastest couple wins (One of the hottest girls Ive ever seen came running out of the ocean completely naked, amazing) Then there was another wet tshirt contest and then a body shot contest which was just girls taking off the clothes and pouring syrup on themselves and licking it off…I love spring break!
Every weekend here, and in pretty much ever Spring Break destination there is a massive turnover of students. We pack up the ones who have been here for the last week and say our goodbyes as we welcome a new group. …Lets just say this weeks group promises to be a fun one 
The waves are coming up here higher than I have seen before but that doesn’t keep anyone from heading out to the beach. Spring Breakers can be seen by the dozen out in the ocean trying to work the waves to their advantage and get in some body surfing!
The party at Jamaica Tamboo was a great time on Saturday night as well. For a day when we had so many flight delays and the students came in so tired from it, they were troopers and came out for the night. It looked like many felt it was well worth it, dancing and drinking all night on the beach, and checking out the fire dancer show put out there by Jamaica Tamboo.
Tonight was the 8 hour Open-bar party at the Jungle. Wicked made an appearance again to the delight of the Spring Breakers. They ran all of the contests, like the booty shaking contest. Lets just say that contest got a little wild. Someone in the crowd gained a pair of panties while one person on stage lost them, and another girl just decided that her dress was getting in the way of her winning…so she took it off…..Welcome to Negril Spring Break 2008!!!
Thursday night’s Coral Seas Beach Bonfire at Coral Seas was a hit all of the STS Spring Breakers with contest being the theme of the night. Noone seems to get tired of chugging beer, playing flip cup, beer pong, and F#@&%$ the dealer. The great thing about parties in Jamaica is that you always have your toes in the sand and a drink (usually a strong one) in your hand.
People began rolling in on the beach nice and early, and worked their way up to the bar for Hangover Helper from 10AM-11AM. The rum and the Red Stripe are always flowing here at Jamaica Tamboo. This STS headquarters has become the favorite of all the Spring Breakers for Negril 2008!
The foam party at Margaritaville is in the spotlight tonight. More contest, yardstick drinks, filled with you choice from our open bar. People will pour in from down the street and up the beach to fill the walls of Margarittaville and this party not to be missed. Another great thing about Jamaica is that you can pretty much were you bikini or boardshorts anywhere you go….especially when it’s a foam party.

Whats spring break without wet t-shirt contests? Wednesday night at Margaritaville VIP I think proved that girls are getting wilder every year! Packed house-no cameras allowed. Then why not follow it up with another one during the daytime in case it was too dark for anyone to see at night. The beach parties are starting off with chugging contests and ending with THE spring break contest. Also, word is that everyone loved seeing Y’s Falls and getting crazy on the rope swing. Beach party today at Tamboo, Coral Seas BeachVIP tonight which means red stripe and red stripe light bottles all night long!

Midweek is here and the party is in full swing! Today a group of us went up to Y.S falls to spend some time in Jamaican Rainforest and explore it’s many waterfalls, and we just got back! The trip was only $40 and left at 9AM and came back at 4PM. No worries about the early morning meeting though. Juta Tours met us at Tamboo and drove us up there, so all we had to do was show up, and relax once we got in the car. Once there you actually get a good chance to see much of the green and tropical property on the tractor ride up to the park area. While there the group swam in every pool imaginable, jumped off rope swings suspended from trees and left behind all the worries of home. Many thought it was a nice way to take a break from the beach and the heat, and all agreed that Jamaica was definitely the place they want to come back to next year. Watch for pictures to be posted as soon as we can download them! Tonight we are headed out to Margarittaville for Mardi-Gras, but at the beach right now, it looks like the party has already started. When we returned from Y.S. we were greated with the words “chug, chug, chug,chug” as the beer chugging contest was going on down beachfront! I’m going to run out and go join the party!
P.S. Today was the day that several of the girls discovered patties for the first time, and I think they are hooked. They missed breakfast so we grabbed some of the meat filled pastries,that are fried, at the small food shop up by the falls. I even saw some taking pictures, posing with their patties.
3/03/08 Negril Jamaica
Monday was a big day here in Negril, Jamaica. Partying all day on the beaches of Tamboo seems to be a reoccuring theme here. I mean, a 35 hour drinking pass for only $50, who wouldn’t be having fun?!! Things got a little crazy with some dancing down front and center of the bar. Some of those typical afternoon showers didn’t dampen anyone’s fun. People were hanging out on the decks of Tamboo taking advantage of their all you can drink! Flip cup, King’s, Beer Pong…..all games that can’t be stopped by the rain! Everyone did quiet down for a bit to go home and get ready for JamFest! The buzz was is in the air all day long! This was the first in a series of Outdoor Concerts that seem to be more of a festival, headling some major international artists!! This week Assassin headlined, next week Beenie Man, then Shaggy the following, and closing with TOK the final week of Spring Break!! These concerts also feature some of the best local artists, a wet t-shirt contest (although this week some of the girls were missing the shirt part!!), and a 60 foot tall water slide!! Slide at your own risk and pleasure!! After a late night everyone went home to try and catch just an hour or two of sleep and we’ll all meet back up tomorrow for the snorkeling cruise!

The very first Jamfest went down last night at Waves and Assassin killed it! He headlined and put on a great show after teh Battle of the bands went on first. Waves also put out a 60 ft inflatable water slide during the show that shots you right down in front of the stage. Definitely the start of a great thing, can’t wait for Beenie Man Monday March 10th. Today was our first sunset booze cruise. The rain cooled everyone off before getting carzy and jumping off the cliffs at Rick’s Cafe.
Sunday kicked off with a huge beach party over here at Tamboo with open bar for VIPS from 11 AM-4 PM! Tamboo just put in a big time sound system and blasted it out on the beach bringing everyone in Negril over. DJ Tez had music going and ran some contests…flip cup, beer pong, bucket chugs and dizzy bat relays. Needless to say everyone was pretty intoxicated and had a great time. The weather down here has been perfect, sunny and 90 degrees. Great weather to get a burn. The Sunday Night VIP Party is at the Jungle and then tomorrow is the first JamFest concert featuring Assassin with Lil Joe. JamFest is being promoted everywhere down here and the venue, Waves, which is located on the beach looks awesome! They have included a 60 foot inflattable water slide that shoots you down right in front of the stage!
The first group of students have landed in Negril Jamaica and already there is a whole new energy in the air. The beaches are filling up with binge drinkers and reggae music is coming at you from every direction. Last night the VIP party schedule kicked off at Margaritaville with a foam party and the MC on the microphone managed to get everyone wasted and half naked in the huge foam pool. The artist Troublesum is staying at Jamaica Tamboo for the spring break month with his emcee and they are supposed to hold it down at the VIP party at Tamboo tonight…should get wild.
